In 1994, National Semiconductor Corporation provided a patent assurance letter to the IEEE 802.3 Working Group regarding National’s NWay technology. A copy of the assurance letter can be downloaded here.

N-Data is pleased to offer an NWay/IEEE Standard patent license in keeping with National’s assurance letter. A copy of N-Data’s NWay/IEEE Standard offer and patent license can be downloaded here. The consideration for the NWay/IEEE Standard patent license is a one-time fee of $1,000.00.

We would like all interested parties to become licensees under this NWay/IEEE Standard Patent License Offer. To encourage this, N-Data will donate all proceeds from the NWay/IEEE Standard Patent License Offer to one or more non-profit organizations identified by the RIPL Group.
